3DTek.xyz Masso to Gecko Parallel

3DTek.xyz Masso to Gecko Parallel board.

Designed to simplify Connecting a Masso CNC Controller to the popular Gecko G540, where otherwise a mess of wires might be required.

    1. Step Duplication Pins: To duplicate all step pulses for any axis, over to the A axis (4th driver of gecko), shunt one of the jumper sets in this group.  For example to duplicate all Y steps over to the A Axis for a tandem Y motor machine put a jumper on the Y pins as circled in red on the image above
    2. Direction Duplication Pins: To duplicate all direction signals for any axis, over to the A axis (4th driver of gecko), shunt one of the jumper sets in this group.  For example to duplicate all Y directions over to the A Axis for a tandem Y motor machine put a jumper on the Y pins as circled in red on the image above
    3. Spare Grounds: As suggested some spare access to common ground for external equipment
    4. A Axis:  Due to space requirements the A axis slot on the Masso needed to be covered by the Adaptor, and so it has been brought out on top.
    5. B Axis:  Due to space requirements the B axis slot on the Masso needed to be covered by the Adaptor, and so it has been brought out on top.
    6. Extra Gecko IO: VFD, Fault, Charge Pump, Output 1 & 2, Input 1 to 4 from the gecko are exposed here in case you need access to them.
    1. Female DB25 Parallel Port with gecko pinout: connect a straight through parallel port cable from here to the gecko.

Masso Adaptor underside

The underside of the adaptor has male 3.81mm connectors spaced to slot into the Masso on the bottom right corner filling connectors X, Y, Z, A, & B as marked below:
